Pol Sambol
Pol Sambol, or Thenkai Sambal, is a traditional Sri Lankan dish made from coconut and used mainly as a side dish with rice, string hoppers, hoppers and curries. Its sweet, mild and spicy flavors describe the soul of this island nation like few others. It is diverse, exotic, full of freshness and prepared in different ways by all the inhabitants. It describes in a culinary way the soul of a diverse culture, rich in history and thousands of years old.
